in his person, I don’t think Pres. Trump feels like an egotistical conqueror. He is the point man, leader, in front, and must maintain confidence, and does because of the White Hats and the plan to win this time, and overcome.
Mod’s comment describes the strategy for this portrayal through his word choice, excellent comment. Pres. Trump can’t be like maybe we win but cartels are so big, maybe we lose and just retreat to California and accept socialism.
Mr. Juan said White Hats tried in the ‘80s to get the upper hand against Black Hats. I imagine this is true, but George Bush as VP —> Iran Contra and a big setback for the image of Pres. Reagan and momentum for freedom. Darkness in foreign affairs held sway for so many years!
