There is a difference between federal government overreach for the evil plan of injustice and immorality and control of the lives of the collective individuals and families and communities, and local, state (even federal) operating for the purpose of goodness and safety and protection of the collective individuals and families and communities.

You are forsaking the good and righteous and necessary aspects of safety measures LE should and do have for the sake of making a broad statement (and quite honestly a fallacious one) like “less police state.” You’re not required to understand why some things are good and necessary in order for them to exist and be acceptable by most, if not everyone else. But it would sure help your own piece of mind if you did understand.
