You do realize this tool only checks for the "fingerprints" of specific programs. For anyone with a little technical know how it's easy to make a few changes under the hood of open source variants to render it invisible to these detectors.

How do they do with say, screenshots of screenshots?

Probably not as well depending on if the screenshot tool alters or converts the image format significantly, causing artifacting or downscaling, etc.
