Just like operating a truck or a car, there's study to be done. You wouldn't just go operating a plane or a boat, right?
I am sure somewhere along the line, person has been told how or where to fly..
I looked up NOTAM in the article. Seems as though pre flight even pleasure flight rules are to be followed and checking for NOTAMS. Flying seems like it takes a lot dedication to and adherence to a ton of rules and regulations.
Oh yeah. You have to learn and follow a ton of rules.
In the good old days we used to do just that.
So many of our freedoms taken away.
Glad that I retired.

I do that in a boat all the time.
