As a catholic you were not exposed to the “Scofield Bible” which is what the Protestants and their offshoots have been using for a long time and it’s chock full of Zionist and pro Jewish messaging and is the reason so many non-Catholics are so pro Israel and Zionist. All the liner notes and explanations in the margins have stuff supporting the creation of Israel. As a catholic you would have learned that Jews are not the chosen people ever since they rejected Jesus, and the Catholics became the chosen people by virtue of Jesus sacrifice.
