Going to be a very unpopular thing to say here. What would Charle want for this kid? Did he believe in the death penalty? I'm sure he would want justice served. My other thought is, what do we learn about this mental disorder, it's causes, indoctrination and all the things that led this disordered person to carry out such a heinous act? This kid's death, justified in the eyes of man, only treats a symptom, not the cause. Sure he deserves an eye for eye but that just ends it and nothing is learned. Maybe during this trial that's sure to be very long, we will will learn the causes. Yes, we all know what they are but hearing it from the disordered person's perspective may shed some light on the evil that produces these hateful people.
I guess we could say during his long prison term before being put to death those questions can be asked and answered.
I have no questions about what causes these mental illnesses. Our society(USA) has fallen away from good and accepted evil as normal. Young adults have no moral compass because they have been fed a constant stream of sex, violance and filth. Not to mention the last deepstate administration was pushing the filth into the forefront of our lives.
Now we are just left with our own opinions and that is the world is going to create when you kill the ones that just want to talk and at some point it will be very bad.
Actually I did find a video where Charlie said he was originally against the death penalty but changed his mind, haven't found out why. So maybe there really isn't much more to know than a misguided individual took it upon himself to be judge, jury and executioner. Now he has to face the same reality.
