Looks very possible to me.
They usually have multiple shooters and a patsy.
You can see what could be a barrel sticking out between the fingers in the video . And when the shot is heard there is what looks like recoil.

Doesn't account for the fact that his supposed 'killer' didn't even aim.
at the moment the shot would have been taken (second 5), there was no hand recoil.

in second 6, after kirk has absorbed the shot, then the man's hand moves

This 'researcher' is muddying the waters or has a sub 90 IQ. And the tiny grainy video is sus.
Aiming isnt necessary for extremely proficient shooters. Their was a famous law enforcement officer from Oklahoma who never aimed and never missed. The FBI even copied his shooting stance the two handed shooting crouch holding the gun at chest level came from him.

There's still some other issues with this.
Kirk is starting to recoil from the hit in second 5. At that time the man's hand is still stable and hasn't recoiled. In second 6 then the man's hand recoils. watch it slowly between 5.5 seconds and 6.5 seconds. A lot is happening there that reveals it.
Even if he's the best shot in the world, there's still no recoil or smoke before kirk starts recoiling from the hit.
It could be a gun using electromagnetic acceleration or even a recoileless cannon type technology.
I'm not trying to really argue this point,I'm just saying I'm sure the clowns have tech that we don't.
I agree it was not a standard handgun.
