The shooter, who has not yet been publicly identified, is dead, according to Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Col. Christopher Paris.
Attorney General Pam Bondi condemned the shooting, writing: "Violence against law enforcement is a scourge on our society and never acceptable. Pray for the officers involved."
The police attempted to serve the shooter with the order on Tuesday night, but they were not able to find him, according to officials.
On Wednesday, law enforcement was returning to the site to do a follow-up visit when the shooter opened fire from a nearby cornfield, striking and killing three Northern York Regional officers
The shooter then began moving toward the house where he engaged three York County sheriffs
Two of the York County sheriffs were struck, and one was able to return fire, killing the shooter
One report that I was listening to said that the Mexican Consulate was in the loop and those farms were known for illegals working. That combined with them not showing a picture and giving a name of the suspect tells you one thing....
Very poor situational awareness and tactical movements. Though who would anticipate this type of ambush. Similar to the wildland firefighters attacked in ID earlier this summer.
Its both. They were there allegedly serving a warrant. That alone should have had awareness up pretty high and depending on the warrant type, SWAT or at least a team trained with bunkers should have been there. That also being said, with them being apparently more lax in this situation leads me to believe that it was a low level warrant on a farm where they normally don't have problems. Also, the ease at which an ambush can be set up is extremely alarming. Things like this lead to more militarized police which ironically is one of the things protested the loudest.
But they are police officers against 1? Probably they were hired just to have a job not enough training? or maybe there were more individuals/demons involved? Just that extreme media doesn’t want to say it like always. 🙃 God bless
BBSS has a good response to this…regular police aren’t SWAT and likely aren’t combat trained unless they were on the ground in the Middle East somewhere. And even if so most action is in cities and not in rural corn field type of areas.
Clearing a rural home surrounded by cornfields and woods requires a large operation and/or including drones or helicopters using thermal cameras to clear around any structure before approaching on foot. It’s a whole different tactical situation for the cops…but depending on why they were serving the warrant, it should have at least waited till daylight and a drone.
I think the article said evening so I’d assume it was at least dusk if not dark. Just seems like some poor decision making…poor judgement…one of those let’s just get it over real quick and get on with end of shift type of thing.
I’ve been on edge since there have been shootings at firefighters and medics. Always looking over my shoulder as we run calls.

Well hes not maga or he would have been identified right after it happened.

Shapiro probably shot them himself so no one pays attention to all the money he is stealing from the reserves. Haaa jk. Sorta.
Took out some thin-blue-liners that didn’t want to play the game and sent a message to the rest……
Oh, shit. Maybe.
This sounds like the cartels are declaring war.
Might be too soon for this….
Was going to say; “don’t mess around with the Amish trying to sell raw milk!!!”
Seriously 3 killed and 2 wounded? How’s that?

Ok. I didn’t know it was at night and rural home plus like you said they should have waited.

God protects you and just ask God anything in the name of his son and he Will grant to you.
