Aaron Zaliponi, a member of the Butler County Emergency Services Unit (a local SWAT team), was positioned inside a nearby building at ground level as part of a local counter-sniper team. Four seconds after the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, began firing from the rooftop, Zaliponi fired a shot that struck Crooks' rifle, damaging it and preventing additional rounds from being fired. This action delayed the threat long enough for a U.S. Secret Service counter-sniper (positioned on a rooftop) to fatally shoot Crooks 12 seconds later.

There was only one set of counter snipers behind Trump on the rooftop back stage right of Trump Their position had one tree close to the AGR building blocking visual of Maxwell Yearick (Thomas Crooks).
The ear shot and first volley of shots, most likely came from the 2nd story window of the AGR building that directly lines up with Trump's location and the front corner of both flanking bleachers. There was allegedly one LEO, Greg Nicol, in that 2nd story of that building... nobody seems to question him or that location.
The final shot came from a counter sniper on the roof of the west grandstand of the arena who took a picture from his perch some 450~480 Yards away.
Mike Kelly is a nice guy but still voted to send money to the U crane when his constituents were openly disagreeing with him at his appearances...
