Honestly, Dr. Kim’s plan just sounds like self-promotion disguised as some kind of noble mission. We don’t need more churches; what we need is actual engagement and people who will go to those churches. There are already more than 37 million churches globally, yet church attendance is on the decline everywhere. In fact, the U.S. has seen church attendance drop by over 20% in the past two decades, with only about 47% of Americans regularly going to church. It’s not about the building, it’s about the people inside. Charlie understood that. He didn’t waste time building new structures; he focused on converting people’s hearts, showing them why faith matters and how to live it out. What Dr. Kim seems to miss is that it’s not the number of churches that matters, it’s the number of committed individuals who will actually make the church something meaningful. More churches just means more empty buildings unless you’re changing people's lives, and that’s what Charlie did.
Frankly, Dr. Kim's idea feels more like an ego-driven publicity stunt than anything that will actually serve the greater purpose of spreading the gospel. If he truly wants to make an impact, he should focus on building real relationships, not more structures that will just end up empty, just like the thousands of churches already out there.
Church isnt the answer. GOD is. I didnt learn anything from the secular denominations but confusion. When i finally just got to the bible i learned to actually believe.
You should check out a Calvary Chapel church if you have one near you. They are the churches that started back during the "Jesus Freak" era. They are Bible based and stick to scripture. The only complaint I could have is that sermons are mostly about getting saved, rather than how to live as a Christian.

He saw the trees and missed the forest.
