I disagree. This had nothing to do with "incompatability" and more to do with stress of life mixed with stress of raising a severely disabled son. Everyone hits their breaking point, and sometimes it brings people closer, sometimes it pushes them apart. It doesn't have to end in divorce, however how they dealt with it ended it with a divorce. I'm not saying they are right, I don't believe in divorce except for in infidelity, substance abuse or abuse of your spouse... however that's how they felt best to deal with it. I don't judge.
