Ok on this point alone I am going to actually weigh in- ASL I love you is a one hand gesture and pretty well known. In every picture of me and my heavy metal friends or it friends I slip an I love you in to their devil horns. I was literally good naturedly teased for it. To be clear Something absolutely does not sit right in my spirit with this whole thing so I am actually so in for the dig but on the sign language 🤟 that is a total red herring Squirrel IMHO
I usually don't go ........ unless there is more than one thing causing me reason to pause and usually it is the combo of intuition/gut-feeling combined with thought.
My gut feeling about her is that there is something of about her, which is what made me not simply brush of her gesture(I'm also a metal-head and the use of that gesture in that context is highly likely something they fermented in the metal community, they want its use to be normalized so that regardless of where the real assholes can use it as signal without worrying about it...)
On that we agree. I too have that something is very wrong here. I too can’t put my finger on it. I often argue from many positions in these scenarios because I am genuinely exploring and I feel strongly the best technique is be sure group think is disengaged.
