The prophecies in Daniel reveal the antichrist comes from the Syrian division of Alexander's Empire (King of the North/little horn, king of fierce features, Who understands sinister schemes. 24 His power shall be mighty, but not by his own power; He shall destroy [l]fearfully, And shall prosper and thrive; He shall destroy the mighty, and also the holy people.) There are other descriptions of him in the N.T.
