It was beautiful. Downtown was very beautiful full of small shops and waterfront. During the springs, it was cherry blossoms lining the waterfront. Many high tech businesses were there and you have all kind of neat food and small eatery. I also like the bookstores and coffee shops and all the ethnic restaurants.
The hubs and I used to fly in for long microbrew weekends. It was such a fun place to go! Now you couldn't pay me to step foot there. I really do hope it gets cleaned up in every way.
plus you cannot even help them without getting beat up by the homeless. They didn't do it to me in Portland but the ones in WA (Vancouver) just about beat me up when i was helping them.
It's not happening just yet, right? I sure hope it happens. Jeez Marie, it would be wondrous to have Portland back to 2000.

You know it too, huh? I used to love it there. The west hills, and the Botanical Garden, the Zoo. You can hike for miles.
