I wonder if they did it on purpose - not busting in arresting Comey. They’re tapping him and watching his next moves, the phone calls he makes, etc probably get more info that way then placing him in interrogation room cos he’s so damn good at lying. OR the last time Kash brought Comey in for questioning a deal was made. And now Comey has to sell out the boss he works for and set some traps. Just guessing
Roger Stone’s case is more straightforward,political. They didn’t arrest him to get to someone else or extract more info, it was for optics and circus.
This is a strategy called giving you enough rope to hang yourself with.
They're playing an angle here. This is not white glove treatment.
And an afterthought, it's possible they really just needed to slide the indictment in before the statute of limitations ran out, and we're gonna see more indictments soon. They are planning on rounding a few more people up in October, but due to deadline reasons they were forced to play it this way.
