This has been really weighing on me. If a religion doesn’t believe in Jesus Christ, does that mean that it's tied to the "spirit of the antichrist"?

Is the antichrist being revealed to us not as a person/figure but as a spirit within people?

1 John 4:3: "But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world." (NIV)

2 John 1:7: "I say this because many deceivers, who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh, have gone out into the world. Any such person is the deceiver and the antichrist."

1 John 2:22: "Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son."

It's becoming very unsettling and I don't know how to process the extent our government has aligned with people who don't believe in Jesus. We've always said this is a battle of good vs evil but I thought everyone would recognize evil when it appeared like it has been. Apparently I was wrong.

We aren't allowed to have nativity scenes in public buildings or prayer in schools but we allow a religion who doesn't believe in Jesus to be deeply involved with our FBI and our elected officials even training them!! We give them money and they use it to destroy our Christian fundamentals and commit acts that go against what Jesus taught.

Their version of religion taught them they are God's chosen. But yet they reject his only son? How absurd does that sound! How have we gone along with that for so long.

They love to falsely call us racist, homophobic, antisemitic. But we don't call them out as anti-christ when they blatantly proclaim they don't believe in Jesus Christ. Maybe we need to start??

My heart hurts. I feel like our country has gone a long with betraying Jesus. Am I wrong for feeling this?

I apologize if this post offends anyone. I know there are wonderful people who don't know Jesus. I'm talking about the people who do but aren't defending Him.
