Since he froze sign-ups for any new Illegal Aliens that means there are old Illegal Aliens getting free services. Why??? I know lots of American Citizens who have to struggle to pay for insurance. Why are any Illegal Aliens getting any medical insurance or services for free???
Because in 2018 a GOP congressman in Orange County forced CA to cover illegals as a way to force all the dems to vote for it so he could call them out in the media after Newsome was elected, except everyone voted for it and from 2020 to 2024 they allowed them to sign up for coverage. Basically he wanted to make Newsome look bad, and it blew up in his face.
Newsome spent the first year of his tenure trying to recoup the costs of the program, then let it go as covid blew up in his face and it all got forgotten.
