Megyn Kelly tried to topedo Trump in the first debate in which it seemed he might have fair moderators because Fox News was hosting it, rather than the usual liberal suspects. She opened with a an unfair attack on him, leaving out the context of the remarks she was criticizing. Luckily, Trump was able to make a great moment out of it.
Later, she whitewashed James Alefantis in an interview, portraying him as an innocent pizza place owner caught up in a baseless attack by crazy right-wing propagandists. But she didn't let the people suspecting him tell their side of the story - or show any of the hundreds of pieces of creepy evidence that there was something very wrong with Comet Ping Pong.
A fair journalist would have shown the audience both sides of the story. Instead, she attacked the concerned citizens as crazies and protected the guy they were rightly concerned about.
Yes, she seems to have come around since then, for whatever reason. But I'll never trust her.
I’d like to trust her but she 1st need to explain her past. I know some anons think she doesn’t owe us anything and most of us used to be asleep in the past but still, she’s doing podcasts journalism and she wants us to trust her or else why would we listen, right? So yeah I think if she addressed those issues we had with her in the past she can start fresh, and we can try to give her a 2nd chance as well. I don’t see anything wrong with that unless she’s really just going where the money flows, and if that’s the case we’d like to know as well instead of guessing. I think she’s genuine but I want to know her stand on things.. not just the trans and vaccine but other issues as well, and why she was anti Trump before and sabotaged the debate.. I’m sure it’s a career move, but if she just admits it I’d applaud her for her bravery to admit when she’s wrong.
