Originally, she was harsh toward Charlie's killer ("You have no idea what you have unleashed") then became soft at the memorial service ("I forgive you" while dabbing her eyes). Both felt staged. Also, the pyrotechnics at the memorial service when she was announced ("Please welcome to the stage..."). Very odd... but then, none of this has made any sense. The whole ordeal feels like a script better left unwritten.
