On election night, a computer can zip through the tens of thousands of scanned thumbprints and find any duplicate prints.
That way, we ensure 1 person = 1 vote... and that the dead don't vote. Democrats can't just round up names of people who haven't voted yet and make up fake ballots in their names. You need to have unique thumb prints = no cheating.
