I think you'd protest too, if you had a coordinated attack against your real name and character sponsored by MI6, for instance, claiming you are a pedo without one shred of proof, but it is repeated by thousands of useful idiots online. You'd be guilty in the eyes of the world without having done anything at all.
And when you try to defend yourself, some asshole comes along and says, I think he protests too much, must be something there.
