Interesting. This technology helps solve the MAJOR problem with renewable energy. (Solar, Wind) Namely, energy storage for use in off times like darkness or calm winds. Communities could band together locally (like co-ops) and store solar energy without having to sell it back to the likes of So Cal Edison for pennies and be self sufficient using the concrete block walls between homes to store energy. Just an off the top thought.
