Not just no. Hell NO. neither can school boards, superintendents, principals. PTA's, athletic booster clubs. PS, get to know your bus drivers too. WE ARE IN BUYER BEWARE TERRITORY, "trust" is in a bygone era.
Tell us a little about yourself. I want to know how you have reached your conclusion. Just wondering if you are a concerned citizen or an antagonist.
Probably just someone who went to school.
My Mrs. Is a teacher and she would lay down her life for her kids. She pours her heart and soul into her job. She is THE teacher you want. You should not brazenly state the teachers are not trustworthy. Because in her case you would be patently wrong.
My wife was a teacher. From what you said about your wife they could have been best friends. There are many teachers that have no business being anywhere near kids. There are also many teachers that do everything possible to help the kids place in their care.
We cannot trust the system that creates teachers to be trustworthy. Even though that system is currupt many teachers are great with kids.
The system itself is what cannot be trusted. Not the teachers that had to go through the system to become teachers.

No. They no longer get teach. They indocrinate and many of them are sexual predators.
Not simply based on their profession. It's entirely an individual thing. I would no more trust a teacher than a LA fire chief or a NY mayoral candidate. It's everybody's responsibility to vet individuals for suitability.
