Jesus saves. It’s real folks. If you are hurting. If you need something that sustains. That fulfills. That won’t ever change and always be with you. Help yourself, help your family. Seek a relationship with Jesus Christ today. Stop waiting for that moment. Some quiet opportunity. Just get started. Be bold. This fella today left his house, planning on not returning. His wife and three small kids. One is a baby. Today we heard just a tiny bit, and even the preacher starting getting emotional, as him and his family stood before the church, as he lead his family..himself and his wife after him, into the waters of baptism. I grabbed ahold of him afterwards and just held his hand. I know that darkness he was in. That battle. I’m wouldn’t be here right now if it wasn’t for the saving Grace of God. Thank you Jesus for never leaving us. As we wander lost, you were always there. Holding your hand out, we just have to reach out to you. It’s the win win people. Become victorious. You can truly win today. Right now. Because Jesus wins. God always wins.
Love y’all.
Well he had accepted Jesus as his savior a few days ago before him and his family were baptized. He sat down with our pastor and discussed that, and then wanted to publicly make this statement. I understand that the acceptance is the most important, always is. But as he is able to be baptized, he did so. I’ve seen many discussions about this over time. And there have been those who were unable to be baptized because of their situation, like on a hospital bed or stuck underneath a building…something. And of course they can be saved and go to heaven, even right there at the end. But of course the baptism is very important as well, and if a person is able, and like the Ethiopian…the water is right there. Can a person be saved without being submerged in water? I say absolutely. But does this give a reason for those who are able, to not be? What’s the reason? Being shy? Don’t like crowds? Afraid of water? They need to understand this is a public admission of you accepting Jesus as Lord. The one who saved you. You now follow Christ. And Jesus himself was submerged. We follow Him. I figure once they hear this, and understand, the Holy Spirit does it’s thing. Conviction. You’re saved. Now continue the process, and the mission. To help guide others, we help show the way. And Jesus is the way.
