Crude oil drops below 01FEB2021 price $61.58, wiping out all of Biden admin intentional supply restriction shenanigans; OPEC is ramping production while we drill, baby drill in the US and now restriction free "Gulf of America" and "Mount McKinley National Park".

Gulf of America name change wipes out all environmental restrictions put in place since 1977. Mount McKinley name restoration re-establishes Alaska-legislated exclusive control of resources intentionally removed by Obama's renaming it "Denali".
Why the hell aren’t gasoline prices dropping
I work with some drilling companies and they have been slow this year, forecasting to be slow next year but ramping up in 2027. I don’t know if it’s just hit and miss between companies but just what I have seen/heard from a few of my customers.
They have dropped a lot in the Chicago area the past month. On Labor Day weekend we were at $3.79. This week it’s $2.79. Quite a drop. May it continue.
$3.69 in Arizona
Our gas in rural WV shot up to $2.99 when Joe was elected, stayed there for the entire four years and is still at that price. There's only three stations in town and they're all within 500' of each other so probably get serviced by the same distributor.
I will literally celebrate when it finally drops below 2.99 again.
There is a refinery battle going on. Blue state Governors like Newscum are intentionally sabotaging refineries to limit supply and keep state gas tax collections high (since they collect a % of fuel price and are bankrupt). Expect to see a divergence in gasoline prices between Red states (not shutting down refineries) and Blue states (shutting down refineries). If you live in a blue state, but near red state border you may be able to do cross-state arbitrage and self-storage for personal use.
There is typically a 2-3 month lag between drop in crude and drop in refined fuels.
Meh, nothing will EVER beat 4/20/2020 prices.

Do you think the price of regular gas will finally go under $3.00 a gallon in MD?
I sent an email to President Trump letting him know that prices of a gallon of gas locally never dropped until a few days ago, .10 a gallon to 2.79. It's been 2.89 a gallon since he took office though oil has dropped $20 a barrel since January. This has to be price fixing because usually it would have dropped several times in 10 months.
My fuel was cheapest ever here in florida. 2.49
