I know it's probably true -- but I would rather we remain unnoticed in the galaxy. I'm not optimistic enough to think we'd get alien species like the ones on Star Trek with a "United Federation of Planets". With our luck we'd get "Independence Day" and have locust like beings harvesting our resources. No thank you. I'll pass on aliens.
