I'm not a boomer, I'm a first yr Gen X - both my parents were born in 41. I have never been a Dem. My parents have always been Republican. They were firm believers in God, Country and Family, in that order. I don't understand the appeal - is it lack of responsibility? Is it just a finger to "the man"? Is part of this outlook from the days of the draft, where young men's lives were put on the line whether they were behind the action or not? I don't get it.
