You believe that gender drugs and surgeries were perfected but absolutely unknown in 1981. I was in 10th grade in 1981. Or beginning of Jr year depending what month this was, there was no such thing. You "suspected" some girls were lesbians or guys were gay, but it wasn't really talked about publicly.
