Sometimes, one does wonder.

Aside from known bloodlines with generations of "bad" people, occasionally one will hear of orphans or adopted children (who were raised in excellent homes with good families) who simply turn out to be "bad". Is that genetics, bad influences/friends, something(s) the adoptive parents did or didn't do, frustration/turmoil of being "given up" by, or taken away from, their parent(s) or what?
