Trump is Truthing about using the nuclear option to end the filibuster and reopen government. But I think that there could be a bigger play involved. Without the filibuster, the Republicans could remove and replace Obamacare, pass the Save Act, etc.
The Democrats made us do it. It was for the starving children. 😎😎😎
I guess I just don’t understand why they can’t end the filibuster and achieve what they want, and then reinstate it.
Very true. If we lost an election, we could put it into law. Then they would have to control all three and have a super majority. But we should reduce the supermajority to 55 to make it easier for us the next time around. Of course I believe that we will hold all 3 for decades.
