Agreed. This is all strategic positioning and brinksmanship. Who will blink first? I sure as hell don't think it will be the US. Strength is the only thing this ilk understands.
If the rest of the Latin American countries can see that the US is not going to sit back while the rest of the place goes to hell and a handbasket, through CCP infiltration and soft power economics, along with all the criminal networks, these countries will be more inclined to step up and deal with it themselves when the US is not going to just sit back and watch it happen like we have for far too long. If the US is not going to act, why should they?
