Hegseth orders the military to detail dozens of attorneys to the Justice Department, AP learns
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the military to provide dozens of lawyers to the Justice Department for temporary assignments in Memphis and near the U.S.
This is because the DOJ doesn't have enough US attorneys to handle the case loads - both in DC and the rest of the Federal districts, especially on the border. I was wondering what they were going to do given the numbers of recent DOJ criminal referrals and the BS cases that have been filed by the left lunatics. The left's tactics involve simply overwhelming the system. The DOJ cannot afford to pull US attorneys from other more local jurisdictions thereby creating a void in those areas. These other field offices have also seen a dramatic increase in cases and cannot spare the manpower. So, a very smart move by the administration to address the gap instead of expanding the DOJ through an uphill legislative approval process.
