She was visibly upset this morning and she said she can't trust Trump anymore. What? She said she was watching a Candace Owens video and she says he hasn't done enough to get to the bottom of Charlie Kirk's death. That he didn't push Kash Patel for a deeper investigation. That Trump had some role in it, blah, blah, blah.
I don't watch any of that stuff. I don't watch the news, I don't read newspapers, and I don't watch Candace Owens. I've got nothing against her but she's just too white appropriation for me. Anyway, I told her to calm down the whole thing smells like a replay of Sandy Hook, the Las Vegas Shooting, the Butler assassination attempt. Bad guy, caught, done. Too done, too fast. But not trusting Trump? Honey you need less screen time.
Personally, I am very concerned about what we've observed so far with the investigation into Kirk's death.
But we need to see it play out and we need to remember that DJT cannot do everyone's job. This is on Patel & Bongino, both of whom have at best a very modest amount of my trust. Starting their regime by saying that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide was not a good start.
I think your wife is right to be concerned, but not trusting the President any longer given what he's done and gone through the past decade seems extreme to me.
That being said, it is disappointing to see how few patriots are putting pressure on Patel & Bongino on X over the Kirk investigation. We need to crank up the heat.
