They always fence off the real story.

Outside the fence they use disinformation. That's a conspiracy. The study doesn't prove XYZ happened; no we were looking at PDQ.

They will make a fake data point... then belittle that datapoint.

All these things are to scare you away from unlocking the fence to look around.
