I honestly think a lot of these governors ARE actually just useful idiots and not privy to the details, just doing what they're told by their "handlers". Trump endorsed nipple ring Cuomo, Cuomo is owned by Trump now AND its the first step of Trump bridging to moderate dems and breaking the mental wall.
Cuomo probably didn't know or understand the implications of his orders, and reacted either ON order or on fear from crooked advisors.

Asking NYC to vote for anyone with an R in front of their name is not gonna happen. Sliwa should have dropped out, but he can be happy he got 8% or whatever of the vote and an actual commie is running the city he loves. I don't live in NYC but close enough to visit and already thinking about avoiding it as it devolves into a hell-hole.
