As I already stated, this BS is going to continue until God changes things. Until then, we may have short periods of respite here and there, but those periods will always be temporary. I too am looking to have one of those periods of respite - at least for awhile. But I also know it will not be permanent - nothing is except our Creator.

God said every inclination of the thoughts of man's heart was altogether evil all the time. When man is in the driver's seat apart from His Creator, the end result will always be the same. Evil will not be eradicated by man. Only God can thoroughly subdue evil. Until then, that evil is part of our reality. Our job is to fight back against that evil placed here in order to challenge us and bring us closer to God. He is in control and nothing happens in this world that is beyond His reach. That is the bigger picture. Our Master told us to occupy until He comes and that there would be difficulties.

We should not put our life on hold to wait for some imagined world designed by man. We cannot stop moving forward while waiting for something that may or not be. Life is too short. We still move ahead with the life we have been given and try to make things better, while at the same time, having a hopeful anticipation for a future reality made by God that is our ultimate destination.

I know this is probably not what you want to hear. But I also have to remind myself every day of this reality. It is too easy to become absorbed with worldly events that can cause us to become paralyzed - afraid to go one direction or the other - so we end up doing nothing. Do what you can with the hand you have been dealt and continue to move forward within the operational space your situation allows. That is all we can really do. Good luck.
