Ethereum cannot store actual data (but I get your point!), that was "revealed" with the NFT craze back in the day. Nearly ALL NFTs were stored on AWS.
But there are blockchains developing that can store data, and do compute in a decentralized way. It's still a big problem that AI is run on centralized servers or locally. If there were a way to decentralize compute, the world could begin to regain privacy and control of their data
