I’m not unhappy with his 9 months in office; closed the border, shipping parasitic illegal aliens out of the country, shutting down wars, stripping funding of the NGOs with DOGE, drill baby drill, bringing back manufacturing jobs through foreign investments, kicking men out of Womens’ sports. And that’s just a short list. Y’all need to get a grip.
Shutting down wars? The only one he promised to shutdown was Ukraine. He's still giving them our money. And you can bet the ones that almost started that he shutdown he did with tax payer money. Personally I could care less if some of those countries would have depopulated each other, but they would just send the 'refugees' here.
Gas is still high and fluctuating up and down which didn't happen his first term. It just went down. Not his fault, but that doesn't matter.
DOGE did take out a 100 billion. Far short of the trillion promised in the first term, but promising. Unfortunately judges put their thumb in it and instead of going after the judges he waits for the Supremes.
The real problem ain't him, it's the GOP and courts. If he doesn't find a way around this, we will lose the midterms and then it will be over. It's not really his fault, except for the over focus on foreign policy and how he has handled Israel. Oh, how he handled the Epstein stuff is a master class in stupid. And he ain't stupid so it makes him look like he's fucked a kid or two to most people.
A lot of people told us to get a grip when we were talking about nothing being done about election fraud before 18 and 20. And how we were heading for loses. I got everything from being called every name in the book to trust the plan.
I'm seeing it all happen again. But there will be no come back this time around. We lose those midterms it's nothing but impeachment city again. Most people don't care about the future of this country, they only care about right now. And right now they can't buy houses, make rent, or buy groceries. Everything else doesn't matter. He has every right to blame the GOP, but that only makes our chances to win the midterms worse.
You’ve put in words what I’ve hesitated to say here. I know people here think I’m a shill but the point is despite his assertions Trumps efforts are not helping every day Americans. I think what he is doing great on foreign policies and immigration but the GOP has always been bad at kitchen table issues.
We have faced coordinated corruption in every avenue in our lives. No matter who we are or where we are we have been harmed by all that has happened since he came down the escalator. Not by him and MAGA but by life. Trump promised us that America would be great again. Is that greatness only to be recognized by foreign governments or does it touch the American people have been hurt.

In my opinion everything we are watching (except foreign policy and immigration) seems like would have happened anyway. Trump in office or any pos leftist. We have no power between elections. We elected Trump because we thought we’d benefit from him being our president.
What about Americans? I’m white, Christian and old. We have idiots like Rand Paul saying helpful shit about soc sec at 70 and only for 8 years with no rebuttal to speak of. We got a minuscule COLA adjustment. Car insurance is the 8th highest is the country. My taxes are so high we literally are living hand to mouth despite paying off our 9 year old car this year. And guess what? They raised them another mil last night. Our meds and groceries are through the roof! Michigan has given permission for two increases to our power companies so we can pay for the destruction of our beautiful state! Whenever gas prices go lower the gas taxes go up to counteract it. We are genuinely afraid to go to the Drs because of their betrayal during Covid. I’m so thankful that my grands are still too young for school because of what’s going on. You can’t even watch tv! These are American first issues. This is the help we need to stop dooming.
Yes, I live in a blue state. Cheating got us where we are. We were told they had everything. Im waiting to see what happens from yesterday. Doubting anything because when required to report on the voting rolls Michigan ignored the order.
I care about improving our lives. Call me small minded but we deserve to be thrown a bone. Any bone that actually helps our growing discomfort. I’m too old to wait for natural repercussions to evolve.
Don’t get me wrong I support Trump. I know he is the only one to even try. But I’m tired.
Thank you for sharing all of that. You are experiencing what most are and it's so frustrating to not see the needle move on these critical issues. The Billy dreamers need to wake up to what time it is. Trump needs to come back home and focus. If he loses the midterms it's back to impeachment city then jail after his term. I really don't understand how he doesn't get this. The Supremes will betray him with tariffs and then the GOP will betray him with the nuclear option. He, like many here, need to wake up and face the reality we are actually in and not a fantasy world that shields us from facing the truth in exchange for a temporary piece of mind that will be ripped away once the communists have finally waited him out and come back swinging.
