Holy Father, I went through this week unaware it was cold and it would be tedious, only that I would be beginning every day with this Prayer. Then, honestly, I don’t think it was that cold and I was more exhilarated than discouraged by the various snags which went my way during this time. Today I will be working from home this affternoon before hitting the road again. I kinda enjoy this routine because it clearly keeps in my mind what my duties are and how I love to know what my role on this planet is.

👉🏻 Today, we celebrate Prosdocimus.

Prosdocimus (Prosdecimus) of Padua (d. November 7, ca. 100 AD) is venerated as the first bishop of Padua. He evangelized the region and is said to have founded the parish church at Isola Vicentina. Prosdocimus baptized Justina of Padua. His tomb is situated at the basilica of Santa Giustina at Padua. The chapel dedicated to him there was built over his tomb outside the walls of Padua. The church also once contained the relics of Prosdocimus's deacon, Daniel, though these were moved to the Paduan church of Santa Sofia in the 11th century, and then to Padua Cathedral.
