Interesting that she was appointed by President Trump - On June 11, 2018 President Donald J. Trump nominated her to serve as a Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon (to the seat vacated by Judge Anna J. Brown).
I think that is exactly the purpose - to appeal this all the way. Have SCOTUS rule on it and the legality of these broad injunctions.
Very likely, once SCOTUS rules on it the lawfare loses teeth. I feel like that's what we've been doing recently, getting all the ducks in a row legally for "the storm" so that it can weather any challenge.
