My mother immigrated here from Sweden in the 50's and they had to have a sponsor,that guaranteed to take care of them if they needed help. They were also told,if they receive any assistance they would be deported. They were also told,not to use the court system.

Yep. When was the last time an illegal fought for MY freedoms? Even if they did slip into the military, them serving does not make their illegal action of crossing the border any less of a crime.
Somehow this needs to be fixed and I can only guess Q has a plan to evict every single last illegal out of America. Like OP stated....we owe them nothing. (maybe a handful of beans or rice so they can stay strong enough to make it back over the border)
