im sitting here pondering what the 5d chess interpretation of this is but im coming up with nothing. this just seems like a slap in the face. id be curious to understand what trump thinks he will gain from saying something like this. The only thing that makes sense to me is that he is actively engaged in negotiations with India on trade right now - perhaps this statement / sentiment is needed to further those discussions or provide needed leverage. Nothing else seems to make this make sense, at least to my mind.
