100% I don't think you should be as concerned as they make it out to be, him on SNAP and was just at the office talking to them about it.
What's ACTUALLY happening, is everyone is being forced to COME IN FOR INTERVIEWS.
Now this means you don't necessarily need to fill out an entire full new application, it means they can use your old application, with all your old information, they just now require an in person interview AND proof of all your expenses and income and whatever.
So it's not that they are walking back the reapplying, it's just going about it differently, and they're trying to make it sound worse than it is.
Alright I guess that's not so bad. Still haven't heard a good explanation for the H1B pivot from a while back. I even saw him have an interview recently where he was parroting the Elon/Vivek talking point that Americans are just too dumb 🙄. That rightfully nuked Vivek from right-wing discourse (where no one should have trusted him from thr beginning) so I'm surprised to see Trump taking that route.
Maybe it's a "make people mad so they pay attention to it" thing but I'm pretty mad enough about things as it is and would appreciate a bone here and there.
I do agree with the H1B pivot, but I think part of that is like you said, trying to wake up everyone to how bad it truly is.
I had a lot of anti-H1B posts on my X timeline, but it exploded after the fee and walkback of the fee.
I feel like A LOT more H1B fraud started getting exposed, because people were so upset at the walkback, they started hunting down these companies themselves, and reporting them for H1B fraud.
I can't pretend to know all of what Trump is thinking, or how he has to play his chessboard, but I believe Trump knows, that strong emotion is what gets shit done.
Frens should never trust anything Politico says, and certainly don't let them get your skivvies wadded up. TDS agenda.

I'm with you, anon
The state & local processes do not appear to be working.

Art of the deal. Everyone should feel like winners. Sugar catches more flies. Something to keep in evaluations, I think.
Not the point, but that actually isn't true. You'll catch more flies with a bowl of vinegar fun fact.
Makes sense. That's how I catch fruit flies. My point was only that Trump often asks for more so there's a beginning of negotiations, like H1b.
