Uh, the books of the Bible were in existence long before the Catholic Church.

I worked in a bookstore for awhile. I had many Catholics come in asking for help selecting a Bible. Most had no idea that there were specific editions for Catholics that were different from the Protestant Bibles. I had to teach them about their own religion. It was surreal.

It depends on the area too. The local catholic church in my area has struggled with their congregation. The priests actually, push the people to have their relationship directly with God, and not treat the priests any longer as a go between.
This has been going on for several decades. Unfortunately, so many people are conditioned to be lazy and left there salvation be managed through the priesthood, they struggle to comprehend they need to have that personal relationship.
The worst evil from catholic church is teaching people that you cannot have a personal relationship with Jesus. Pure wickedness.
Worse than the inquisition, the pedos, the mary/saint worship, the fancy clothes, the calling priests "father", the gold hoarding, the hypocrisy, etc.
You can have a personal relationship with Jesus, thru the Sacraments he established & passed down to his Apostles.
Jesus established ONE Holy & Apostolic Church. That church gave the world the Bible. Reconcile yourself to the truth & accept it.

The papacy is an embarrassment. I was a hardcore catholic, on my way to the priesthood, until I read the bible for myself.
Now I encourage papists to read the bible and leave the superstitious crime syndicate behind. I have had success.
I doubt you went to Semenary, but let’s go with it. Did you read the Catholic Bible with 72 books or the altered Protestant bible with words added & 7 books removed?
If you don’t have the entire Bible, can you claim to have the fullness of the faith?
