This is why we need true campaign finance reform where the max donation amount to any one candidate by any one corporation or individual should be no more than $20, or ALL campaign monies should come from the Federal Govt and should be distributed equally among all candidates. Ad time on TV, internet, print, and/or radio should be equal and should be free. Any and all donations to political parties should be capped at $100 per person or corporation and not to be ear marked for any particular candidate. Political parties shall donate money to the local, State, and/or Federal Election coffers only and donations shall not be ear marked for any particular candidate, bill, act, or issue on any ballots. Donations from lobbyists or lobby groups to single candidates or their PACs should be banned permanently, and PACs set up by candidates themselves should also be banned permanently.
