All this comes on top of five previous years of drought. The second half of November is normally the snow season in the capital. Snow cover has decreased by 98.6% nationwide compared with the same point last year.
Imagine having to abandon a city of over 9 Million people due to no water. It's getting to that point. Tehran may be the first major world city to evacuate, with climate refugees moving where they can.
