I worked with two nurses from Russia prior to retirement. They were both very smart, well educated and good nurses. One of them told me "in Russia they aren't worried about their children playing outside and riding their bikes." He said "We are sad here we can't let our children out to play without being worried they will be taken." He was working overtime and saving up to go back home. The other was a lovely girl married to an American pilot and here to stay as far as I know.
