It has nothing to do with being jealous of a particular job. It has to do with whether it makes sense to even consider a job when illegals are making the pay rate so low.
Did I say THEY were? It doesn’t matter WHO is, if they are HERE, and we don’t incentivize companies with carrots AND sticks to hire Americans the problem persists. Reduce supply of illegals and/or punish companies for hiring them severely and the problem goes away.
