Voting IS important and essential to providing a record "somewhere" of the actual vote should REAL audits occur. HOWEVER, what (currently) matters is: 1) how many illegal/fraudulent votes (of any of a variety of types) are cast and 2) who counts (rigs) the votes rather than actual legitimate votes, and THAT mess NEEDS to be rectified.
Many of the people mentioned don't vote because they believe their votes don't count or are diluted via illegal or fraudulent votes and/or uniparty puppets/criminals are primaried and installed into office by TPTB. Thus, fixing (un-rigging) the election systems and processes should be Priority #1 because it is essential to: 1) EVER having better candidates, 2) EVER having a (mostly) legitimate government and 3) motivating people to vote.
Dunno what it'll take to force the needed changes.
Perhaps proof of the 2020 steal or Dem panic that, "Republicans will cheat in 2026", might (FINALLY) provide the impetus/prompt the mandate?
