Back in the 60's or 70's when the world was aiming their disgust and hate for the USA straight at us on a daily basis, someone wrote a song in defense of us. (Can't remember who, but I think about a tattered old flag. Johnny Cash?)
Maybe it was just a statement, written by a Canadian. Something floating around in my memory chip. Getting old is frustrating. Forgetting more than you ever knew.
